We were all swept off to Middle Earth to celebrate the surprise birthday of Kris Brown, owner of 24 carrots Jon Brown’s wife, with a Lord of the Rings themed party. Jon was sure the surprise contained elements his wife truly appreciates and created, alongside a fabulous vendor team, a birthday celebration that family and closest friends will never forget.
Chuck Jones Center by 24 carrots truly transformed into an enchanted forest complete with wooden chandeliers, designed by Inviting Occasion!

This unexpected journey came together as the 24 carrots staff each played a part by dressing up in costumes, each as characters of the Lord of the Ring.
The guests enjoyed games including a Lord of the Rings Toss complete with gold rings. There was even a caricaturist booth where guests were drawn as their favorite Fellowship of the Ring characters.
The elves, hobbits, and men of gondor all posed for the PhotoBooth, provided by Shutterbooth, with a Hobbit Hole backdrop with cutouts of Aragorn, Frodo, Sam, & more.

We ended the evening with a slice of Hobbit Hole cake designed by A Wish and a Whisk. What incredible artists and such attention to detail!
We caught up with Jon after the birthday and he shared a few words with our team,
“It’s simple. I love her, she’s special, therefore this event was special! Other things that made this such a spectacular event was the love that the 24 carrots staff and vendors put into it. Each of you showed Kris and I how much you cared simply by how much you poured yourselves into the birthday party. It was BEYOND memorable. As I think back on the birthday, my wife being so surprised and SO happy was what made me feel the most good. She said that this is the very best birthday party she’s ever had. But not just because of all the fanfare, but because so many friends from her long lost past were there to celebrate with her. She saw friends there that she grew up with as a teen (even pre-teen) along with a lot of family. Thank you.”
