[AV] Irvine

Unique, customizable, and cool, this is an epic, versatile event space for large groups of up to 1,500 guests.

[AV] Irvine has 30,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space, spanning two floors with countless areas for guests to gather. With its glass-paneled exterior, the venue flows openly from the spacious lobby with cocktail bar and lounge, to the stairs leading up to the mezzanine, with nooks and rest areas for private conversations.

Through the main hallway lies an impressive grand showroom with 24′ ceilings where guests party below or gaze from above in the mezzanine. This blank canvas space has the potential to transform into anything, from a winter wonderland to a festive Halloween bash.

City Market Social House

Located in Downtown LA’s Fashion District, this chic, contemporary warehouse was built by event professionals to be a versatile event space for up to 1,000 guests.

City Market Social House has 20,000 square feet of highly configurable and customizable private venue space. There are stunning, vaulted bow truss ceilings, concrete and exposed brick walls, and a free-flowing indoor-outdoor open-air marketplace.

This venue has a spacious, industrial vibe with its blank interior and has the potential to host the perfect holiday party.

The Yost Theater

Located center stage in downtown Santa Ana’s Historic District, this unique venue is amazing for live entertainment and turning everyday events into extraordinary experiences for up to 1,000 guests.

Since 1912, The Yost Theater has been considered an iconic landmark in Downtown Santa Ana, known today as the largest, long-standing venue in Orange County. With the built-in bars on both floors, incredible lighting and sound systems, and an expansive main stage for live entertainment, this space has hosted everything from world-class musicians and international DJs to fashion shows and film premieres.

The Colony House

This modern, craftsman-style event space is centrally located near downtown Anaheim, offering a mix of indoor and outdoor spaces for up to 500 guests to gather.

The Colony House was originally built in 1948 as a tractor factory, then 24 Carrots renovated the space into a warm, inviting, and eclectically-styled venue in the heart of Orange County.

A centerpiece of the main event space is the Great Room, featuring a bow truss ceiling and vintage wood stage, creating a timeless backdrop for holiday events. Two staircases lead up to The Loft, with a second bar and reception space, which overlooks the Great Room and creates a separate-yet-connected area for guests to mix and mingle.

Food Fight: Vendor Meals

The age-old vendor meal policy is an industry-wide hot topic that our Leadership Team has grappled with, and revisited time and time again. For most of our 15+ years of business, 24 Carrots proudly paved the way, feeding our wedding vendors hot meals, with flexible timing. At a time when the wedding industry wasn’t prioritizing vendors, this was a welcomed change. We found some of our best clients and industry cheerleaders in this process – who are still with us today!

A few years ago, we changed our policy to align with the traditional catering approach: feeding vendors after guests. We did so with much reluctance, but out of necessity, as the timing of vendor meals, coupled with an overwhelming lack of communication, were negatively affecting our client experience.

If you’ve experienced our team in any capacity, we believe you should know this about us: that we work together to fix problems. That we communicate respectfully, learn from each other, and grow together. And that service excellence comes standard at 24 Carrots. So when the challenges of our revised policy were brought to our attention, we listened to those partners who respectfully engaged and communicated directly. While our catering service contract is with the client and not our vendors, our vendor teams are very important to us and we value the hard work a team puts into a wedding day. When faced with this issue once more, our decision boiled down to the heart of 24 Carrots: hospitality.

We are proud to go back to our 24 Carrots roots, to offer the following options to accommodate timeline requests:

Plated Vendor Meal: The same entree meal as the guests. Our favorite option! We are happy to accommodate requested timing with the following guidelines (see below for important notes).

Vendor Buffet: Allows for flexibility with varying vendor schedules. Perfect for larger teams. 10 person minimum and rental of table and linen are required.

Deluxe Boxed Meal: The perfect grab and go. Great for entertainers or those who have to eat before hot meals are ready.

Important Notes: While we’ve always offered these three options, timely communication of the following information allows us to serve you best:

    • Number of vendor meals and meal service request time must be submitted to the designated 24 Carrots representative (either directly or through a planner / coordinator) 10 business days in advance. This will allow for requests to be worked into the timeline and service order and for our chefs to prepare accordingly.
    • All dietary meals should be requested to the designated 24 Carrots representative (either directly or through a planner / coordinator) 10 business days in advance.
    • If this information is not received, vendor meals default to a plated vendor meal after guest service is completed.

Just like any other wedding details, communication and planning ahead are the keys to success! One of our 24 Carrots core values is service excellence: our commitment to proactively identifying and meeting the needs of our clients, colleagues, and communities. Wanderloft Spring 2019

Wanderloft is an “upscale sip and see for the modern bride” hosted by The Loft on Pine. 24 Carrots had the honor of being part of this trendsetting showcase once more. Inspired by the phrase “If you’re a bird, I’m a bird”, our design incorporated 1,000 hanging paper cranes, a traditional symbol of love and devotion. Penelope Pots brought the design to life with beautiful florals incorporated into Found Rentals birdcages and complementary pieces.

The menu for the day were small plate versions of our Fine-Dining menu. The fan favorite of the night was our Black Cod, Red Thai Curry, Mint, Basil, Cilantro, Pea Sprouts, Nori Rice Cracker. Served alongside Carrot and Papaya Salad and Furikake Parker House Rolls, these bites packed a lot of punch! Menu signage by Delovely Details, incorporating our terracotta color inspo with a punch of pink.

On the way out, our guests also received custom dipped fortune cookies. Inside? A personalized fortune from 24 Carrots!

The Yost Theater: Grand Reopening

We were pleased to debut our opening act for the grand reopening of The Yost Theater. This red-carpet premiere included encore-worthy moments: breathtaking decor, theater-inspired entertainment, and classic black and white films playing on the LED screen – and that’s just the opening act!

Some of our favorite first-impression details included a Gatsby girl in the ticket booth, a champagne welcome, and a walk-of-“frame” wall to highlight our creative partners.

The main space hosted breathtaking chandeliers, custom-curated bars and theater-inspired stadium seating, making a grand statement the minute guests walked in.

Food is always the headliner at 24 Carrots, but for this opening, it was absolutely show-stopping.

There were many photo-ready moments, courtesy of designer Lavenders Flowers, complemented by perfect partners who provided luxurious velvet-curtain linens, with our favorite phrases and says shining bright for all to see.

Putting the entertainment value over the top, Luxury Entertainment came in with a jazz trio and DJ mashup playing modern hits, and dynamic lighting was provided by N Effect Productions.

To keep the party going after the curtains closed, we gave flavored bitters as favors.

We are proud to be a part of this historic space – thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate and give it the encore it deserved. The Yost Theater, welcome to the family!

Norm + Sherri | Huntington Bay Club Birthday Party

When the owner of 24 Carrots AND his lovely wife celebrate a milestone-birthday, we naturally pull out all the stops! Norm and Sherri celebrated their 50th and 60th birthdays at the newly-renovated Huntington Bay Club. Surrounded by amazing family and friends, we were so thrilled to be able to spoil this sweet couple who is obviously extra near and dear to our hearts.

The focus of this event was the food, and just like the quote printed on the menu stated, guests were encouraged to “eat like you mean it!”. A fully-custom menu, personalized cakes, and surprises waiting around every corner made for an epic celebration. Cheers to Norm + Sherri!
